Delivery methods are how customers get their coffee — pickup from you, or delivery on your routes. Set them up in Delivery.
Creating a method
Open Delivery in the sidebar.
Choose New delivery method.
Pick whether it's pickup or delivery and give it a name customers will recognise — for example "Pickup at the roastery" or "Tuesday city route".
Add your weight tiers.
Optionally set an order minimum.
Save.
Weight-based pricing
Each method is priced in tiers by total order weight, so a 10 lb order and a 200 lb order can be charged differently on the same route. Weight comes from the shipping weight on each variant — if those are blank, your tiers won't calculate correctly, so fill them in on your catalog first.
Order minimums
A method can require a minimum order value. If a customer's cart is below it, that method isn't available to them at checkout — a straightforward way to keep small orders off a delivery route without turning the customer away entirely.
Per-customer rates
To give one buyer different rates on a method, override its tiers on their customer page. See Setting custom prices for a customer.
How it appears at checkout
Customers choose a delivery method in the Delivery section at checkout, and pick a location if their company has more than one. If a method is required and they haven't chosen one, checkout stays blocked until they do.
Pricing is frozen at checkout
Your methods and their rates are copied onto each order when it's placed, so the delivery price a customer agreed to never shifts if you re-tier your rates afterwards.
