Your public page is how buyers who don't yet have an account find you. When one of them wants to open a wholesale account, it arrives in Inquiries.
Setting up your public page
Open Public page in the sidebar.
Fill in who you are, what you produce, and where you're based.
Add your photography.
Save.
Treat it as your wholesale pitch rather than a catalog — a cafe deciding whether to reach out wants to know your style of roasting, your lead times, and your minimums. Your prices and stock stay behind your storefront, visible only to accounts you've approved.
Handling inquiries
New requests show a count next to Inquiries in the sidebar. Open one to see who's asking and what they've told you about their business, then approve or decline.
Approving turns them into a customer, at which point the usual per-account controls apply — payment terms, custom prices, which products they can see. Nothing about approving an inquiry commits you to showing them your whole catalog.
Before you approve
A minute of setup saves a confusing first order:
Set their payment terms.
Add any custom prices you agreed.
Check which products they should see.
Confirm a delivery method covers where they are.
Declining
Declining an inquiry doesn't create an account or expose your catalog. If you're out of capacity rather than uninterested, it's worth saying so — buyers do come back.
Where new customers come from
Inquiries are only one route. You can also create customers directly or invite them yourself, which is the faster path for accounts you already sell to. See Adding and managing customers.
